Saripodhaa Sanivaaram Review: A Thrilling Telugu Experience with a Unique Twist
saripodhaa sanivaaram review |
Here Talking About Saripodhaa Sanivaaram Review So, folks, I’ve watched a movie that, when I went to the theater to see it, was completely packed. And yes, I watched it in Telugu, the original language. I'm talking about the movie "Sari Podda Shanivaar," which is called "Surya Saturday" in Hindi. Nani’s character in the film is named Surya. I watched it in the original language with subtitles.
Hats off to the Telugu audience because when I went to watch it in Telugu, 90% of the audience was Telugu-speaking. The movie hadn’t even started yet, just the title appeared, and the way the crowd cheered and enjoyed it was amazing. In Nani’s entry, in the villain SJ Surya’s entry, in the action scenes, in every slow-motion shot, in the comedy dialogues—people were just enjoying every scene.
Now, let’s talk about the movie. The story is about a person who has anger issues since childhood, but he can only express his anger on Saturdays. The reason behind this is revealed in the movie, so I won’t spoil it. Whenever he gets angry at someone during the other six days, he writes their name in a diary, and on the seventh day, Saturday, he takes out all his frustration on them. But the way this idea has been incorporated takes a very simple hero-villain story to another level. This simple Saturday concept has made this movie special. If you remove the Saturday concept, it would just seem like any regular action-thriller movie where the hero fights the villain to protect society and his family and battles against injustice and a corrupt police officer.
Hats off to the story writer who thought of and beautifully wove this concept into the movie. The BGM (background music) that plays throughout the movie will pump you up. The BGM and music, I’m not talking about the songs—they were okay and merged with the story, so you don't really notice them. But the BGM that plays during action scenes and entries will make you want to dance.
My only complaint with the movie is that it’s a bit long. There were many scenes that could have been cut without causing any problems. Even so, the comedy and action scenes will keep you engaged throughout. And the way each actor has breathed life into their characters is commendable. SJ Surya’s performance even surpassed that of the hero. He nailed his role as a corrupt and brutal officer. And you’ll understand why Nani is called a natural actor. It won’t even feel like he’s acting.
I really enjoyed this movie, and the credit goes to both the movie and the audience. It’s a completely clean movie—no abusive language, no vulgar scenes—totally family-friendly. There are also many good scenes related to family. And in the end, the movie leaves you with a social message about fear and bravery. So, go and enjoy the movie. I wish I could have watched it in Hindi on the first day, first show, but the experience of watching it in the original language has its own charm. Overall, I’d give this movie 3.5 out of 5 stars. See you in the next Post. Bye!
