Transformers One Review

Recently, another great film of the Hollywood industry has been released in theaters, which is a part of the famous science fiction franchise Transformers. This time a 3D animated film has come in front of the audience in the form of Transformers One. I saw it in 3D in the Hindi dubbed version, and the 3D experience of this film was quite different and better than other films. Often after wearing 3D glasses, the brightness of the screen decreases a bit and the scenes start appearing black, but this was not the case in this film. The visual quality here was amazing, which doubled the fun of the movie.

Transformers: A Science Fiction Franchise

If you do not know about the Transformers franchise, then it is a popular science fiction story, which focuses on alien robots that can transform into different objects, especially vehicles, weapons and other objects. Transformers One is the eighth film of this franchise, but it is an origin story, so you do not need to watch the earlier films to watch it. Even if you don't know anything about Transformers, you can still enjoy this film a lot.

Story: Beginning of Optimus Prime and Megatron

Talking about the story of the film, it is based on a planet called Cybertron, where there are alien spaces that can transform at will. These aliens can especially transform into vehicles, weapons or any other object. Transformers One is the first fully animated film of this franchise, and there is no live action in it. It is based on the origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron.

The story shows how Optimus Prime and Megatron, who were once close friends, became enemies of each other over time. This is the story of their friendship and subsequent confrontation. Optimus Prime's real name is Ryan Pax, while Megatron's real name is D16. The film also shows how they became the leaders of the Autobots and Decepticons and led their respective teams.

Animation and visual quality

Talking about the animation of Transformers One, it does not look like an animated film, but like a realistic movie. The visual effects of the film are so great that for a moment you forget that you are watching an animated film. Especially in 3D, the experience of the film is even more immersive.

The action sequences of the film are so tremendous that you will be tied to your seat. Especially a race scene and a train scene prove to be a great experience for the audience. The climax scene of the film completely pulls you into the world of the film, and you start feeling yourself a part of that scene.

Comedy and the funny character of Bumble Bee

Along with action, there is also a good tadka of comedy in the film. The Hindi dubbed version has a different fun of comedy, especially when B-127, later called Bumble Bee, comes on screen. Every dialogue of his makes the audience laugh and gives a light-hearted atmosphere to the film. The balance of comedy and action has been maintained brilliantly in the film, which keeps the audience engaged throughout.

Suitable for all ages

Transformers One is a film that can be watched by children, young and old alike. The story, action and comedy of the film are fun for all. Provided you like science fiction, this film will never bore you.

The biggest plus point of this film is that it is an origin story. So even if you have not seen any Transformers film before, you can easily understand this film and enjoy it thoroughly. The events shown in the film are very interesting and every scene keeps you eager for the next scene.

My rating

Overall, Transformers One is a great film, which gives the audience an experience of great visuals and great action in 3D. The story of the film is both emotional and thrilling, which keeps you hooked. This film gets 3.5/5 stars from me.

If you are a fan of Transformers or have a passion for science fiction and animation, then this movie is a must-watch for you. And yes, do not forget to wait till the end, because the movie also has a mid-credit and post-credit scene, which increases the curiosity for the next part.
